Serving food and beverages, helping the parents with the birthday celebrations, encouraging kids and helping them to skate, singing and dancing along to the music with them.

General cleaning and end of session duties 

DJ

Our DJ creates the vibe for the session by controlling the music, keeping up the energy, and creating a fun and engaging atmosphere. They must be able to judge the crowd, to ensure the correct genre of music is chosen for each individual session. They supervise the safety on the rink, and assist the children how to skate. They play skating related games and also announce special tributes to our birthday guests. Assist to hand out skates and blades at the skate hire counter.

General cleaning and end of session duties 

FLOORGUARD

Our floorguards entertain our guests, and assist the DJ to supervise the safety on the rink. They play the games, assist with falls on the rink and guide the customers to skate correctly. They are in charge of the skate hire counter, and their role is to ensure the customers are given the correct skate or blade size. They also assist the party hosts with entertaining the birthday guests. They ensure the outer rink area is free of any hazards and rubbish is regularly taken away.

General cleaning and end of session duties

DINER ASSISTANT

Customer Service, cash handling and operating square tills, serving hot food, communicating with the cooks, making hot and cold coffees/drinks Restocking of all packaging and drinks. General cleaning and end of session duties.

COOK Assistant

Our cook assistants make and serve all our birthday party hot platters. They help assist the chef with all their duties, these include the setting up of the kitchen, making of our fresh sandwiches, deep frying food, help with end of session cleaning and prepping for the next session. 

SHORT ORDER COOK  

Our short order cooks are the heart of our diner, they are the ones setting up the kitchen, pepping all the salads, cooking food in the deep fryers, making our burgers and breakfast items.

The short order cook also does the cleaning and filtering of the fryers. They are also ensuring they comply with all food safety standards by packaging all food dating them and storing them away correctly.  Doing regular temp checks and ensuring all food that leaves the kitchen is to the highest standard.

The Cook is the one who also does all the record keeping for the food safety officer and also ensures that at the end of the session the kitchen is cleaned and sanitized ready for the next day.
