Public Skate Sessions
Do you have set times for public skating sessions? Yes! All public session times are up to date on our Session Info page from the top menu of our website.
Can I hire skates? Absolutely! We have quad (4 wheels) and inline blade skates available to hire.
- Quad Skates: Junior 8-Adult 16
- Blade Skates: Junior 12 – Adult 14
You are welcome to swap between quads & blades during your session at no extra charge.
Can we bring our own skates? Yes! You are welcome to bring your own roller or inline skates
Do you provide protective clothing? Protective gear is not compulsory. We do have kneeguards and helmets available for hire.
Do you have an annual or multi-session pass? Yes! We offer a Super Saver Pass. 10 Session Entry for only $130 – Saving you $50 compared to the standard entry price. It is a great option if you are a regular skater or planning to visit multiple times.
Do you have lockers? Yes we have locker hire available for $3 for 3 hours or $5 for 6 hours. We accept card or cash payments.
Do you have skate frames for beginners? We don’t offer skate framses, we offer something better for toddlers, beginners to help build their confidence and practice skating safely.
Do you sell food at the venue? Yes! Our Rock ‘n’ Roll diner offers delicious burgers and a variety of hot food, fresh healthy options, sweet treats and snacks and a wide variety of drinks including coffee/tea.
Can we bring outside food or drinks? NO outside food or drinks are permitted. You are welcome to bring a personal water bottle.
Do you have parking available? Yes! We have a large, free underground car park for our guests.
Do you have wheelchair access? Yes! Skate Paradise has a lift providing full wheelchair access.

Learn to Skate
When are the learn to skate classes held? Tuesday 10-11amam, Thursday 4-5pm and Saturday 9-10am (includes session entry 10-11:30am)
Do I need to book and/or pay in advance? No, arrive at any class, pay at the door and sign the attendance register before joining the class.
Can I hire skates? Yes, we have quad and inline blade skates available for hire.
Quad Skates: Junior 8 – Adult 16
Blade Skates: Junior 12 – Adult 14
Do I need my own skates? No, we offer skates for hire however, owning your own skates may help improve your comfort and progression. Our skate shop offers a wide range of skates for purchase.
What age can my child start? We welcome all ages from toddlers and children to teens and adults. No minimum or maximum age. (Children under 5years old are at a discounted price – see Session Info page for current price).
Are classes suitable for beginners with no experience? Absolutely! Our Level 1 class is designed specifically for 1st time beginners with no skating experience. Skaters learn the basic skills while building confidence. Parents are welcome to walk alongside their child for extra support if needed.
What should I bring to class? We recommend you bring; long socks, comfortable clothing and a water bottle. Water and drinks may also be purchased at our Diner.
Do you provide protective padding? Protective gear is not required however, wrist guards are available to hire. Protective equipment may also be purchased in our skate shop.
What if my child misses a class? We encourage regular attendance but missing a class will not hold them back. Skaters will have plenty of time to practice and catch up before testing, which takes place every 8 weeks.
What is testing? Testing is optional and takes place every 8 weeks. Once a skater has mastered the required skills, they may progress to the next Learn to Skate level to learn new skills and tricks.
What if I or my child doesn’t pass the test? No problem at all! You or your child simply remains in the current level and continues practicing the skills until the next testing session.
What happens after completing all star levels? Once a skater completes all Learn to Skate Star Levels, they may join one of our club sports or simply continue enjoying our public skate sessions while developing advance skills and having fun! Group Bookings
Do you offer group bookings? Yes, discounted rates apply based on your group size. Please refer to our group bookings page for all the information and prices.
Who are group bookings suitable for? Youth groups, schools, sports teams, social clubs, work functions and large friend and family gatherings.
When are group bookings available? You can make a group booking during any one of our public skating sessions – see our Session Info page for session days/times.
Do we need to book in advance ? Yes, to benefit from the group discount pricing, you must be pre-booked to secure your spot and seating.
Do we get a reserved area? Yes, all group bookings include a complimentary reserbed booth. The quantity of booths provided will depend on how many guests are in your group booking.
How do we pay ? Group guests are required to arrive at the ticket office booth all together. Once guests have been counted through, a single payment covering all entry and skate hire is made for the group.
Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, a minimal non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
Is skate hire included? Skate hire is available at an additional cost or guests may bring their own skates.
How do we make a booking? Visit our group bookings page, complete the booking enquiry form. Our friendly team will be in conact with you to confirm and secure your booking.
What if our number of guests change after the booking and deposit is paid ? If your numbers change significantly, please notify us for updated pricing. If your numbers change slighly, they may be changed on arrival.
Can we organise food for our group? You may purchase food from our diner or ask about our catering options for your group at the time of booking.
Can we bring our own food or drinks? No outside food or drinks are permitted. You may bring own personal refillabe water bottle.
Are group bookings suitable for all ages? Yes, we welcome all ages, with options for younger skaters too.
Do I need to know how to skate? Not at all! Beginners are always welcome. Our sessions are designed for all skill levels.
Is there a minimum/maximum group size? For discount pricing yes, please see our group bookings page for quantities but availability depends on the session you are booking into. Contact us to discuss your needs.
Birthday Parties
How do I book a party? Simply submit a party enquiry form from our Birthday Party page to start the process. Our birthday co-ordinator will contact you to secure your booking date/time and answer any further questions. You will be sent a confirmation email with all your details, including invations and what to bring. Final numbers must be confirmed by the date on your confirmation email.
Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, a minimal non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
When is final payment due? Final payment is processed at the end of your party session on the day.
Do I need to confirm guest numbers? Yes, to ensure your reserved placement, guest numbers must be confirmed 2 weeks prior to your party date. If anything changes after that, just give us a call and we will confirm the update for you.
What ages are suitable for parties? No minimum or maximum age. We welcome toddlers to adults. There are more suitable sessions themed for toddlers and young children, please ask when confirming your booking with one of our team members.
How many guests can I invite? Our packages are based on a minimum number of 8 guests with no maximum limit. The more guests you bring, the more party booths you will be allocated. Subject to availability for the day/session time you book into.
How long does the party go for? Parties last the duration of our public skating sessions. Each session is approximately 2 to 2.5 hours with plenty of time to skate, celebrate and enjoy!
Can we bring our own food? We do not allow outside food or self-catering. We offer a variety of party platter options whcih may be selected vising our Birthday Party website page. If you have any concerns, please speak with our friendly birthday party co-ordinator when booking.
Can we decorate our party area? You are welcome to bring simple decorations like balloons. NO confetti or table decor and no items can be stuck on our walls. Balloon table centrepiece decoratoins are available to hire.
Will we have a reserved are for seating? Yes, all party bookings included reserved party booth seating for your group.
Can adults or siblings join? Parents and siblings are welcome to skate and join in the fun. If they are not included in the party guest list, standard entry fees will apply at entry.
Do guests need skating experience? Not at all! Beginners are very welcome. Your party host will run a learn to skate session at the start, teaching all the basics.
Can our guests hire skates? Yes, We have quad and inline blade skates available for hire.

When is the cake and food brought out? Your party will follow a scheduled session, including set times for food platters and the cake. Your party host will guide you through the timing at the start of your session.
Can we bring party bags ? Each party guest receives a lolly bag and free return pass included in your package.
Is there parking available? Yes, we have a large under cover and outside area car park available for all Skate Paradise guests.
Can we take photos? Absolutely! Capture all the fun and don’t forget to tag us on your socials, we love seeing your celebrations!
What if my party is this weekend and I have not booked yet? We recommend booking your party weeks in advance so staff and catering platters may be organised. However, we understand last minute plans happen so with 10 Party booths available, if we have space, we will do our best to fit you in so you may celebrate the specail day.
